The PTGui tutorials are excellent but after some hours I still was frustrated with certain issues. This video is my effort to save you that exercise, cutting hours of experimentation down to 10 minutes or so.
Panoramas are typically thought of as wide aspect ratio images. The more general concept is image stitching—assembling a finished higher resolution and wider field of view image from one or more rows of overlapping captures.
Tip not mentioned in the video: a Cylindrical projection can result in very poor sharpness when shot with moderate overlap. Use Equirectangular for far sharper results in such cases.
